Ruilly publishes guides about the cost of moving money across borders. Because that subject touches people's income, here is how we work.

Who writes our guides

Our guides are written and reviewed in-house by the Ruilly editorial team. We publish under a team byline rather than individual names. Responsibility for everything here rests with Ruilly as a company.

How we check them

We check claims against primary sources, the standards bodies, regulators and institutional documentation that define how a mechanism works, rather than secondary coverage.

Provider fees and spreads change often, so we avoid building guides around specific prices. Where we use figures to demonstrate arithmetic, we label them as illustrative and show the method so you can substitute current numbers yourself.

Our guides explain how costs are structured. They are not financial, tax or legal advice.

Updates

When a guide changes, the byline shows it.

Corrections

If a factual error affects the substance of a guide, we fix it and add a dated note at the foot of the article explaining what changed.

Commercial relationships

Ruilly is a company, not a newsroom. We are building a product that compares the cost of moving money, so over time we will have commercial relationships with some of the providers our guides discuss.

We do not accept payment to include, exclude, recommend or rank a provider in editorial content. Where a commercial relationship exists, we disclose it in the guide.

Use of AI

We use AI tools for drafting and research. Every guide is reviewed and verified by a person before publication.
